The C Family {MN Family Photographer}

Oh what a windy day it was out at Prairie Wetlands in Fergus Falls the night of this shoot. But we certainly tried to "work it" in our favor. Windy and warm that is so we had to move quickly as these kiddos liked to be on the move as well- which quickly added up to some red faces ;) How wonderful is this family's attire?? Perfect for photos- loved the outfits and the little touches of the necklaces, etc. Loved the color scheme. And how adorable are the kids! You had to see Mr. M's eyelashes in person to truly do them justice, but wowza! We had great fun exploring the land out there and trying to get some pictures in along the way.

This session was the winning session from my Operation Bootstrap Africa fundraiser last month. Thank you so much C family for keeping up with the bidding-- we broke last year's record and I look forward to next year shattering this year's donation-- and the C family were winners as well as they scored an awesome photography package for a sweet price ;) Thanks so much C Family-- enjoy your sneak peek! 2nd Annual Operation Bootstrap Africa Fundraiser Auction!

Those that follow this blog may remember last year's photography package auction to support a great cause, Operation Bootstrap Africa. Well, its that time of year again. I am a little late on getting this started so we'll need to push it hard to get the auction going before the walk. This year it will take place June 7th. Walkers and supporters can meet at 5:15 at the courthouse in Fergus Falls. This is the 24th year we have had a walk supporting this cause here in Fergus. Remember to keep in mind proceeds directly benefit the children of Ketumbeine, Africa. Like last year, I will have a wall photo on the Holly D Photography Facebook page where the bidding will take place. That is where the most up to date amounts will be shown, but if you would like to place a bid via this blog or e-mail please do so and I will update the graphic with the amount you have bid. My church has always been involved with this event so I hope to generate a great donation to add to the cause. Lets beat what we did last year-- the winning bid was $180 -lets shatter the record!

Photography Package Details:

*Full photography session with Holly D Photography for up to 4 people
*A CD of 20, fully edited, full resolution images from your session with printing release
*A 5x5 custom designed, spiral bound session album using the photos of your choice on front and back covers, including 10 photo pages inside

This session fee and package is valued at $500, lets start the bidding at $125


Bidding starts today 5.26.11 at noon and the final bid will be accepted at 9:00 p.m. Sunday June 5th. The winner must pay for the session by Monday June 6th 5:00 p.m. by cash, check, or credit/debit card. The session may be scheduled at any time.

Operation Bootstrap Africa

I am going to be participating in the 23rd Annual Operation Bootstrap Africa Walk and will be auctioning off a photography package to raise money for the organization. The walk will take place on Tuesday, June 22nd 2010. Walkers and sponsors are needed. Walkers should meet at the courthouse in Fergus Falls at the steps at 5:15 p.m. Following the walk a light supper will be served at the Pebble Lake picnic grounds. Keep in mind that proceeds directly benefit the children of Ketumbeine, Africa. I'll keep updates on the auction on the blog, but also if you are on Facebook you will see the most up-to-date amounts of what the package is going for. In the wall photos album I will have a photo/graphic of Operation Bootstrap Africa and you can comment on that picture with your bid and see what others have bid before you. This package is valued at $350 and I will start the bidding at $100.
The auction will end on Thursday June 17th 2010 at 9:00 p.m. Payment must be made by Friday June 18th 2010 in order for the donation to be made in time for the walk. We can schedule the session at any time, but the payment must be made ahead of time. Let the bidding begin!!
