Little Z is 9 Months - {MN Baby Photographer}

Oh how I smile when it comes time for another Holly D Baby Club sessin with Ms. Z :) This little girl is SO adorable and this session was no exception. So happy and content while mama does that gorgeous hair of hers and what style sense she has at a young age! ;) She makes the sessions so easy with her cuteness it hardly feels like work at all. So without further adieu.....a tiny sneak peek for cutie Z and her mama :)

Miss H Turns 1! {MN Child Photographer}

I cannot believe a year has already gone by! It seems I was just taking H's newborn photos and here we were at her 1 year photo session already!! I was so lucky that she joined the Holly D Baby Club to get to follow her through her year and what a great year it was. Every shoot we did was cuter than the next and unique! This little girl is ALSO the most DAINTY cake eater I have ever seen!! We bring out the cake for the obligatory cake smash photos and she hardly put a dent in it for quite some time, just daintily taking off frosting pieces and flowers and eating them. Finally towards the end she did get a LITTLE crazy, but still that cake stayed pretty well intact. Thank you so much J family for letting me photograph your beautiful daughter's 1st year :)

Mommy and Me Mini Sessions!

The details you've been waiting for! 2011 Mommy and Me Mini Sessions! Mommy and Me Mini Sessions will be taking place Saturday April 9th 2011 at River Inn Studio. They will be by appointment only and space will be limited to please get in touch as soon as possible to secure your place and get first choice in scheduling. Your mini session with Holly D includes a 20 minute photo shoot with all images from your session presented in high resolution, fully edited on a disc with printing release! Shawna & Dan - MN Maternity Photographer

I met with Shawna and Dan down at the studio for their maternity session and I was so happy to see they brought along lots of personal pieces to incorporate into their session. I just love having those personal touches no matter what kind of session I am working on, it makes things so much more unique to the client. Shawna had all kinds of great and unique ideas- love that! Mr. & Mrs. H - Destination Wedding Photographer

This beautiful wedding day of Mr. and Mrs. H took place in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico (near Puerta Vallerta). As I saw during their engagement session, the love between these two is SO easy to capture on camera- they just can't help but be madly in love and adorable :) The wedding took place at the gorgeous hotel Riu Vallarta. When we walked in I KNEW I was going to have an amazing backdrop to work with! {Josh + Mindy} - MN Engagement Photographer

This was attempt #2 for a winter wonderland engagement session with Josh and Mindy. We attempted on another brisk (to say the least) winter day, but we just couldn't make it with the wind chill. Today we were bound and determined to power through and they were sure troopers!! It was STILL cold and windy, trust me, but we worked around it and their love for each other shined through and warmed up all of us. They were so easy going and just happy to be together and willing to try all my crazy ideas- LOVE that! ;) This shoot took place on the lovely grounds of Forest Lodge Farms Bed & Breakfast just outside of Fergus Falls (www.theinnatforestlodgefarms.com). What a beautiful place! We were also treated at the end of our shoot to some fresh, warm, made from scratch croissants made by the owner- that also helped us warm up a tad ;) We have more up our sleeves this spring with them and I absolutely cannot wait to take advantage of their full property without all this fluffy white stuff in our way ;) I cannot WAIT for my first bride to tell me they are getting married out there- check out their website and all their options for weddings! Another special treat about this shoot were some great pieces from Majeco Creations (215 W Lincoln Ave - 218.998.2950) right here in Fergus Falls. They are a virtual treasure trove of great pieces for styling shoots, your home, your office, or anywhere! Great selection and the owners are VERY helpful!!
