Some of my best memories of growing up are all wrapped around my mom... counting the flour scoops as we made chocolate chip cookies, rainy afternoon movies and popcorn, lazy days at the beach, and of coarse all of the support a young woman needed to find her way in the world. I love you mom!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is the best mom for so many reasons! She raised my younger brother (10 months younger brother) & I, as a single mom. She worked so hard to give us everything we needed to grow into responsible, mature adults. She worked many part time jobs while also going back to college to get a better job, all while dealing with two teenage kids. She has taught me so much about life; how to be resourceful, to work hard, to throw great birthday parties for my own kids, to take each day at a time & also to take time to enjoy life no matter how busy/stressful things can get! Now, as an adult I call her multiple times a week for advise, to just talk & to listen. I also think my mom has turned into the best grandma in the world! It is amazing to watch her with my own kids and to see how much they also look up to & admire her & love her as much as I do! My mom is an amazing lady!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is also a great mom. I have learned so much from her. As a child, she was a single mom raising 2 very small children. I'm not sure how we got by, but we managed and I think that I turned out pretty good and was always able to have the things that I really wanted growing up. I give her so much credit. She taught me so many life lessons as a child through now. I have always admired her and hope that I can be a great mom just like her. She is also a very great grandma to my children. My husband and I work crazy hours. She is so kind that we have the strangest hours and because of this she stays at our house at least 2 or 3 nights a week just so that we can keep working our crazy hours so that I can stay at home with my children during the day and spend more time with my family, just as she stayed home with my brother and I during the day and that we don't need to pay for daycare. I give her so much credit because there are not very many grandparents that would be willing to do this. I think that she is a wonderful mom and a fabulous grandma!
ReplyDeletemy mom is the best beause she is always there for me. No mater what it may be, she will be there. She always encoraged me in whatever I wanted and also was there to support me.
