The K Family {MN Family Photographer}

Ok- now while these photos show we DID get some smiles out of little Miss S--- boy did she make us work for them! haha- She is simply adorable but not much for being in front of the camera...she was MUCH more interested in checking out my camera, pressing buttons, seeing what I saw haha-- do we have a future photographer on our hands here? ;) This session was on one of our last "warm" days of fall-- maybe we'll have another streak here, but not sure it will happen again, so lucky for the K Family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

The P Family {MN Family Photographer}

Ok--- honestly--- how adorable is this family!?! Loved this session! While it may have been QUITE breezy and a tad chilly, we made do with a few breaks for warm ups and we worked in shifts ;) All in all though I'm really happy with the results. SUCH a cute and loving group!! Big brother J had already been through the Holly D training course though -- you may recognize him as one of my seniors from this year as well. I also got a quick preview of the family's plans for some wall portrait galleries and I cannot WAIT to see what they pick out and hopefully see them once fully installed in their home? (hint hint photos please ;) ) Thanks so much P family for asking me out to your place for a photo session-- again, what a great crew! Enjoy the sneak peek!!

The S Family {MN Family Photographer}

Ok-- we all KNOW the inevitable...winter is coming....we're lucky its not SUPER cold..YET....BUT we can still hope for warm and comfortable outdoor family portrait sessions right!?! Well, this was not TOO bad, but we definitely kept moving and finished up JUST before a rain storm- phew! And let me tell you, these two dogs did not want ANYTHING to do with the camera or looking at me haha- I think I worked harder to get them even to glance my direction than I ever have had to for a child haha. Just to get a few with everybody looking and smiling was QUITE the accomplishment ;) We had lots of fun walking around joking together-- thanks so much S Family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

The F Family {MN Family Photographer}

I was lucky enough to get to do family pictures again for this super sweet family. Last year it was bitterly cold out and we were at their home in town for the session. THIS year we had an absolutely gorgeous evening at their new home out in the country and boy did we have a lot of fun places to go for photos! Also I LOVED the outfits mom picked out for everyone- outfit changes? but of course! ;) as many as the children allow I say haha. My only regret? We never got enough time to see the third set of outfits ;) Thank you so much F family for asking me back to photograph your family again for you, I enjoy spending time with such wonderful people- enjoy the sneak peek!

The H Family {MN Family Photographer}

This session had been in the works for QUITE some time! The kids wanted to give a family photo session to their parents for their anniversary and wanted to plan it after the arrival of the little baby C in the fall. We took these photos out at the parents property and actually found quite the perfect spot for a windy fall day! While not ALL the color was left on the trees, we still I believe had a very nice backdrop and the family coordinated so well with the colors and apparently it was not even planned! Couple all that with two adorable little boys and you've got the makings for a great family photo session ;) Seriously, how can you not smile at these little boys!! So happy we could work together to create a very special gift in celebration of an anniversary--- what a great idea! I've had a lot of these sessions this year, the PERFECT gift! Thanks so much H Family- enjoy the sneak peek!

Mr. & Mrs. K {MN Wedding Photographer}

Do you recognize this couple? You should, their engagement pictures practically went viral over the internet haha -- SO CUTE! I have been waiting and waiting to see what fun little details they would have in store on their big day and I was not let down. EVERYTHING was so cute and little special touches were all around from pictures of great grandparents, to family cuff links and jewelry, the Model A, etc. Just plain CUTE! The reception had LOTS of fun activities for the kids such as pumpkin decorating, balloon animals, and more! They had an ADORABLE photo booth set up, yummy homemade treats to enjoy- the list goes on and on. It was great to read up that they really went for a "home grown" local wedding in all of their planning (our shop locally campaign? ;) ) The delicious Cafe 116 catered their reception, Falls Baking Company provided fresh organic breads, The Spot Panini and Wine was utilized for their groom's dinner, Stumbeano's Coffee Roasterie provided the coffee, Anthony Miltich provided social acoustic music, Terry Harrington was the disc jockey, and yours truly, the photography ;) Oh, and did I forget that Scott (the groom), band director in our town, had secretly arranged for the pep band to be waiting for his new bride at the reception and they started playing as they entered the building--wow- such a special and unique day--- Congrats Mr. & Mrs. K! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of this!

The C Family {MN Family Photographer}

I was so happy to take some family photos for my very good friend and her adorable son Z. Z wasn't QUITE sure he was into the whole photo thing, but I mean come ON how adorable is he!?! Can you say child model? ;) and the HAIR! LOVE IT! It helps that mom owns 715 Hot Heads and is an expert at that sort of thing ;) Mom also came equipped with multiple outfit changes, just what I like to hear ;) I could just take pictures of this girl all day long -- thanks so much C Family- enjoy your sneak peek!! :)

Meet Andy! Fergus Falls Senior Class of 2012! The W Family {MN Family Photographer}

I met up with the Wallace family on one WINDY day last week! It was windy, rain seemed to be looming, but we made the BEST of it and still got the job done with some gorgeous photos in a special place to them, SO special I was nearly blindfolded on the drive in so I wouldn't know exactly where they were taking me haha! Jamie is the owner of Calla Lily Designs http://www.callalilydesigns.com/ here in Fergus Falls, amazing designer here if you need one!! I had to watch myself not to get too "romantic" with these photos according to the hubby haha, but you know me, I can't resist some lovey dovey photo ops ;) What sweet pups they had along too. Oh, and PS, I tried my best to get that hat off too, but it wouldn't budge, even in the wind ;) Thanks Wallace Family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

The R Family {MN Family Photographer}

This family booked me for their fall family photo shoot MONTHS prior to the actual appointment on the HOPES we'd pick the right weekend for the best fall colors.....well they could not have picked better, this was THE peak weekend for fall colors and the result- GORGEOUS family shots! What a FUN family! Smiles and laughter a-plenty, except for little T, he was either really happy or...well....not haha ;) A long as we talked about airplanes and put grass in our hair we were best of friends though ;) Such a fun and beautiful family- it was a joy to spend time out on their property with them on this gorgeous fall day!
