This is just a TINY sneak peek of a styled session I did for my son celebrating his upcoming 3rd birthday. We were patient and waited out a storm and got awesome lighting because of it. Anyone who knows me knows I have a weakness for anything vintage and when I discovered the yellow suitcase and globe at a friend's place and she agreed to let me borrow it I couldn't resist going full force with the vintage school theme. I love coordinating shoots like this. Who Says You Can't Play in the Rain?

Thought this would be an appropriate time for this sneak peek with all the rain we've been having! Miss L and Mr. E were on standby for the perfect after-the-rain photo shoot and the opportunity presented itself and we jumped on it! With umbrellas and rain boots these kids had a BLAST getting into the puddles, as mom patiently stood by and watched them get drenched ;) haha. It was super fun though and made for great and unique photos- and you KNOW the kids loved it. It was also super windy that day and we felt like we were Mary Poppins about to be blown away with our umbrellas in the air-- a great and memorable shoot- Thanks R family-- more to come soon!
