Oh my goodness did we have FUN this day! We went all over the map and had tons of great outfits to choose from and great ideas-- made for a great shoot! Only one small hiccup when a stray cat came running out of one of our locations and about gave me a heart attack haha-- What a sweet girl you are Delaney and your family is so fun! It was so great to spend the morning with you shooting your senior photos. She is such a talented young lady and we had lots of those talents to showcase and lots of personality and we did it all! How fun was this shoot!?! Be it a tad cold and windy, May rocked it just like we were in the middle of July! We did the shoot mostly on her family farm and we were at NO loss for places to shoot!! I could have spent the entire day out there!! So much fun to do all these photos right there at her home, that much more meaning to them and it really helps to showcase May's great personality, interests, and lifestyle! Samantha {MN Senior Photographer}

Um wow- can you say gorgeous!?! And this girl was supposed to be "camera shy" um--- no. Although of course there was a little warming up to the camera at the beginning as there always is, she in no time was firing at me these awesome poses and looks- this shoot was FUN! She wanted different and unique, one-of-a-kind senior photos and that is exactly what we tried to get- we went to places I'd never shot before and we tried to think outside of the box. She is a talented singer so we had fun at the end playing with the records to tip our hats to her musical abilities. She had great ideas for her clothing options and lots of variety, especially love the above scarf from I believe she told me Ecuador- wow! Thanks so much Samantha for choosing me to capture this special time in your life for you- best of luck in all of your future endeavors! Justin {MN Senior Photographer}

What an AWESOME batch of seniors I've had this year!! Meet another great guy, Justin. He is in football and wrestling and into hunting, among other things. We got to showcase all of those interests in his senior photographs- perfect! We were slightly concerned at the start of our session with raindrops falling on our heads, but we pressed on and it turned out to be a really great night, though a tad on the chilly side, though I have to remember it IS September already! Hollie {MN Senior Photographer}

Meet Hollie! (P.S., side note, I'm jealous of her name spelling, I always wanted to be Hollie (i.e. instead of y) ANYWAY haha- Hollie was one of our seniors who applied to be the 2012 Stylin' Senior. While she did not win, her application was SO phenomenal we decided she deserved a special treat for her makeover before her senior photo session with 715 Hot Heads. Leave it to stylist Lauren to pull out another amazing cut and color! Beautiful job Lauren! Hollie is an amazing role model and active on the SADD committee and Yearbook for Rothsay High School. She aids elementary school teachers and is going for her red belt in Tae Kwon Do! Well Hollie, you wanted to start your senior year in a memorable way- I hope we were able to do that for you! You were a real treat to work with, even if "mother nature" was trying to make us work harder with all that wind and brisk temperature ;) A memorable session for sure- thanks Hollie! Lexi - Female Stylin' Senior 2012 Winner {MN Senior Photographer}

Meet Lexi! She is our 2012 Female Stylin' Senior winner! Lexi had a very well-written entry into the contest and immediately made it to the final cut with her great personality that even showed in her writing and in meeting her in person I knew we made a great choice! Lexi is an amazing singer as I found out before the shoot when I heard her singing in our local musical Annie this summer. She is very enthusiastic and willing to try anything and sweet as can be :) It was SO fun getting to go through Vanity and pick out ANY outfits we wanted to use. What an amazing staff there to help us piece things together for a complete and unique look. We then made our way over to 715 Hot Heads to see owner of the salon Lauren Carlson for Lexi's hair revolution. They decided to do some fresh layers and a new color and WOW what an amazing color on her!! We couldn't believe the difference and how her eyes popped! Last we headed over to the Clinique counter at Herberger's to get Lexi's make up applied and once again, wow- what great people and products we have at our fingertips right here in Fergus Falls. What a FUN day that was!! We then headed out to do Lexi's photos and she was a natural- SO easy to photograph and GORGEOUS! With the Vanity wardrobe and 715 Hot Heads/Clinique makeover it was the perfect addition to this great girl's natural beauty. Haylie & Hayden {MN Senior Photographer}

What is better than one senior to photograph? TWO! Twins even at that! And by the way, you wouldn't believe how well these two get along! Maybe its that "twin thing," but wow- what a great relationship they have and you can really see it shine through in the photographs. I even offered to do their sessions on two different evenings, but they wanted to have some photographs together. What a great idea! We ended the session heading out to their family home on the lake and took photographs on their beach. I just love when we can really make a special connection with the location we are shooting at to make things more personal to them. Thanks so much Haylie and Hayden! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met Alyssa out at Phelp's Mill for her senior photo session. She had all kinds of fun clothes and a spunky little puppy for a prop :) Sure, the ground was super wet and soggy, but we didn't let that stop us from having an amazing session on a beautiful August night. We hardly were even touched by mosquitoes! Now THAT is perfect session alone haha :) Oh and PS, check out this girl's GORGEOUS blue eyes! To die for! You're beautiful Alyssa- enjoy your sneak peek!

Megan {MN Fashion Photographer}

Oh my goodness.................I'm a tiny bit backlogged on editing, but I'm SO happy to be able to share these photos finally!! How gorgeous IS this girl!?! WOWZA! This is a rock the dress prom shoot I did with the beautiful Megan. How gorgeous is this dress and how gorgeous is she!?! Makes my job very easy haha. ALTHOUGH I WILL have you know this shoot probably took place on the hottest night of the year- mom and I were sweating like crazy, but Megan somehow "kept her cool" for the shoot- you'd never know the heat from looking at these!! Luckily we had big plans for water at the end of our shoot and I was dressed to head right in with her, especially considering the heat, I even got back in the water at the end of the shoot to cool down one more time haha. This is such a great way to have fun with your prom dress one more time-- get in the water, get it dirty, just have fun! You can do these shoots any time of the year- just one more way to make your prom dress/experience all the more memorable and get great photos of you and your dress! Enjoy your sneak peek Megan!
