Time is flying! Here we are in October already! It also does not seem like it has been a year and some time since I met up with this wonderful family for family portraits on the lake. Boy have the little ones grown! The little girl with the piercing blue eyes who last summer had hardly any hair now has a head full of beautiful curls of gold, but still has that piercing, serious stare with smiles that tend to be few and far between haha. This session was extra special since dad got to come home for a short visit before being deployed. These photos will be cherished all the more over the time he is apart from his family and all the more important to capture this time of them all together to help hold close on the nights they miss him the most. I love working with this family- thanks so much for asking me to come out and photograph you all together.
