I am FINALLY posting on this wonderfully festive wedding reception after Mr. & Mrs. H tied the knot in sunny Mexico! We were welcomed home to a snowy and cold landscape from sunny and warm Puerta Vallarta, but that did not stop ALL of us from getting back dressed in our Mexico best for a home town reception for all the guests who could not make the wedding. They had it decked out with all kinds of Mexico trinkets- so cute! As I knew it would be, it was one heck of a good time! These people know how to throw a party ;) Congrats again Mr. & Mrs. H!!

What a day for a wedding! Mother nature was playing a few games with us with the varying temps and on and off showers of rain, but it made for some beautiful skies! I have been highly anticipating this wedding as it was something a little out of the ordinary- they bride and groom were NOT going to see each other before the ceremony! Another detail that had us on the edge of our seats--- the viewing of the gown the bride made HERSELF! I have to say, she did an amazing job!! What a special and unique touch for your wedding day! The group was fantastic and game to be outside even though it was on the chillier side, but like I said- check out these skies!! Hard to pass up :) Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. S - it was a gorgeous day for a truly lovely couple :) Enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss X is 9 Months- {MN Baby Photographer}

Time flies! I probably say this in every post haha, but its TRUE! Nine months photo time already rolled around for the J household's little sweet Miss X. She is so tiny and petite yet it is hard to believe she is really nine months old, that and the whole time flying aspect. Mama had some ADORABLE little outfits and accessories to choose from for photos. We were hoping to do some outdoors, but the darn snow came AGAIN! Oh well, next session...I am so lucky I get to follow X in her first year as she is a member of the Holly D Baby Club. See you soon J Family- you KNOW I cannot wait for our next project ;)

I had the pleasure of visiting this sweet little guy at his home this weekend. He is one of the most content little babies I have ever photographed! SO sweet and happy :) Here is a little sneak peek for the happy family of three now - Congrats D Family!

Eric + Karma {MN Engagement Photographer}

Well, we had high hopes that the snow would be gone before we took these engagement photos, but no such luck.....these two have a SUPER idea and I'm going to keep you all on the edge of your seats as our fingers are crossed we'll be able to pull off the idea for their wedding photos in the next couple weeks :) Nonetheless, we made our rounds and still had a great engagement session. I am very much looking forward to their wedding day- Karma is making her own wedding dress!! I cannot wait to see the masterpiece! Mr. D Turns One! {MN Child Photographer}

Time flies, especially for your family photographer ;) I know I always say this, but it seriously JUST seemed like I was taking on my first session with little D and here we are taking his one year photos! He is the sweetest little boy and although you could tell he was not feeling his best the day of the photos, you still can't help but smile looking at his gorgeous big brown eyes! Mommy and daddy had some great plans for photos at the Underwood Fire Hall where daddy is a fireman, but little D had some other plans ;) We did what we could and vowed to come back when he was a little older. Mom has some great ideas up her sleeve! Happy 1st Birthday Mr. D! Enjoy the sneak peek!
