These are a few favs of the Urban Sunday commercial photo shoot I did. Urban Sunday is a children's accessory company based out of California best known for their unique and versatile ties! Stacy- ND Maternity Photographer

I figured I better get this little sneak peek up since my good friend Stacy just had her baby :) Congratulations Stacy & Aaron! They were kind enough to brave the elements for an outdoors maternity shoot. We wanted something really unique and different than traditional maternity portraits and I think we got just the right mix! They even came prepared with some fun hats ad scarves to use without me even requesting- perfect! :) We had a lot of fun, even though it was a tad chilly ;) Stacy's little belly kept her nice and toasty and she even wanted to do a couple bare belly shots at the end! I love all of these and can't wait to share more, but for now a taste since their little boy has already entered the world now- thanks and congratulations again!!

Heidi- Trash the Dress- MN Wedding Photographer

I was so happy that Heidi was interested in a "trash the dress" session as on her wedding day we had LOTS of rain so we barely got outside for any photos so I was glad to get this gorgeous gal out and have some fun outdoors pics. As she was in her engagement photos, she was game for anything and willing to try all my crazy ideas ;) I had this "Vegas or Bust" thing in my head and she said the funny thing was they had joked all along about just heading to Vegas-- what a perfect match for idea and participant! Thanks again Heidi!!

Shop Locally Wedding Shoot

Here are just a "handful" of favorites from the event that took place October 30th in Fergus Falls, our home town, where we featured many local vendors in a photo shoot promoting keeping business local for your wedding planning needs in the Fergus Falls area. Many businesses participated, including Sew Perfect Bridal, Mauk Jewelers, Wild Rose Floral and Gifts, Majeco Creations, City Bakery, 715 Hot Heads, Victor Lundeen Company, Bello Cucina, River Inn, Events by Laura, and of course, Holly D Photography ;) A special thank you to my models that day as well, Lauren Carlson, Katie Bigelow, Tara Wallington, Nick Suridis, and John Faber! Miss O - MN Baby Photographer

I met up with little Miss O at her home for some 3 month shots and some mommy-daughter and family shots. She was just the sweetest little girl, ear infection and all! You could not ask for a happier baby :) Her mommy bought the NEATEST prop to use in a future session, but I will leave that as a little teaser- keep watching ;) Enjoy your sneak peek!

A Trio of Brides - ND Wedding Photographer

These three lovely brides ALL met their hubbies at the Empire in Fargo, North Dakota, and had the great idea of all three of them doing a rock the dress session in the downtown area! And what a BLAST it was! We were quite the showstoppers walking down Broadway, three brides and a photographer toting equipment! The girls even got stopped by some tourists for a photo op of their own! One comment was they thought they were the Dixie Chicks haha! We had such a blast, what a fun idea for friends to get together and rock their dresses together!! This could lead to a whole NEW craze- rock the bridesmaids dress?? ;) Thanks ladies- it was such a blast!

Rockin' the Dress with Katherine- ND Wedding Photographer

I made the LONG trip out to Rutland, ND, for this special down on the farm rock the dress session. What a beautiful setting with endless possibilities for photos. We took some on the bride's farm and then headed over to her in-laws and got up close and personal with some cows on their property :) The session went off without a hitch, except for that near "stampede" at the end and losing the cowboy hat to the other side of the barbed wire fence ;) Thanks so much Katherine for being a sport for the session- so much fun! The L Family - MN Family Photographer

I met with this darling little family on a VERY chilly October morning. We tried to make the best of it and kept moving and active with the kiddos and they did great after a little warming up :) They had such great outfits picked out that went so well together, and LOVED little G's jacket!! So adorable! At the end we even let out the family dog for some quick shots- thank you so much L family for being sports with the cold photo shoot, enjoy your sneak peek :)
